The credentials, in plain terms.
Dr Ong is a medical doctor registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (registration number 45245). He holds an MBBS from the International Medical University.
He is LCP certified by Malaysia's Ministry of Health. The LCP, the Letter of Credentialing and Privileging, is the formal authorisation that allows a doctor to practise aesthetic medicine in Malaysia. It is worth knowing that not every operator in this category holds it.
He has more than a decade of clinical experience across injectables, energy based devices, and medical weight management. The clinic has been running, and refining its approach, since 2013.
Three principles, repeated daily.
The first is that diagnosis comes before any treatment, and the consultation is where that happens. The second is that the right treatment for the right indication matters more than whatever is currently trending in the feed. The third is that the work that lasts is decided by placement and judgement. The size of the syringe is a separate matter.
The same doctor, from consultation to follow up.
Dr Ong is the clinic's only doctor. Every assessment and every follow up is his, and he performs the injectable and laser treatments himself. Nothing is led or sold by a sales person. A consultation is in person, and where the assessment supports it, the treatment is done the same day.
A note on comfort.
Dr Ong is the clinic's only doctor. For patients who would prefer, a female staff member can sit in as a chaperone during treatment. We offer it without being asked, and we do not push it either way. All consultations and treatments take place in private rooms.
